{"id":54,"date":"2016-01-05T09:00:09","date_gmt":"2016-01-05T14:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.londonmithraeum.com\/bloomberg-space-archive\/tim-etchells\/"},"modified":"2017-07-17T08:43:05","modified_gmt":"2017-07-17T12:43:05","slug":"tim-etchells","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.londonmithraeum.com\/bloomberg-space-archive\/tim-etchells\/","title":{"rendered":"More Noise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Exhibition Dates:<\/strong> 14th January \u2013 12th March 2016<br \/>\nMore Noise is an exhibition of three neon works by artist Tim Etchells, curated by Helen Marriage, Director of Artichoke for the Bloomberg SPACE as part of London Lumiere festival.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition features a new work \u2018More Noise\u2019 consisting of 14 interconnecting scattered neon word pieces of text \u2018MORE NOISE\u2019 and \u2018THAN SIGNAL\u2019 presented horizontally just off the floor level. The work invokes the idea of sound, as playing on some concerns of pattern, order, disorder, sense and nonsense. He has worked in a wide variety of contexts, notably as the leader of the world-renowned Sheffield-based performance group Forced Entertainment.
