London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE and multi-instrumentalist, composer and author, Dan Mayfield from School of Noise welcomed visitors to a voyage through the science of sound and the different ways that sound can be used. The workshop discovered ways that musicians and scientists, and artists like Oliver Beer, can visualize sound. We explored unique and unusual sound sculpting machines such as the theremin and omnichord, observed beautiful Chladni patterns in sand and even conducted our own orchestra of fruits and vegetables.

These workshops were fun for everyone, but we recommended participation from age 3+.
